Order Now aimed to develop a flexible, robust and technologically advanced food delivery app, based on the market place model of ecommerce. They wanted to create a platform wherein multiple vendors can directly receive orders from the customers, and the food is delivered quickly and efficiently. This was their wishlist..
Client wished for an app that is able to support both Android and iOS users, without separate applications, that needed separate maintenance and updates. One single app, having the capability to support both operating systems was the objective.
With the marketplace model of eCommerce, there are bound to be issues related to order management and order processing. Founders of Order Now wanted a robust backend system that supported multiple orders, arising from multiple customers, 24×7 and 365 days a year.
In case there is a sudden surge of new orders and new users, the mobile app should be capable of handling the traffic, and this ability was a major requirement for the client. The ability to scale seamlessly was something that determined the success of the app.
Using the winning combination of React Native and Node.js, we developed Order Now mobile app and ensured that the app is uniformly accessible across Android and iOS. We created a strong backend order processing system, and enabled fast scaling using advanced server architecture. Due to our efforts, the vendors and chefs at Order Now were not only delivering food, but also delivering happiness to all their customers.
Using the React Native framework, we not only ensured cross-platform capabilities but also shortened the development cycle, and enabled swift go-live and incredibly fast maintenance and upgrade process.
Since Order Now is based on the marketplace business model, we developed a robust and powerful backend system that enabled swift order processing, monitoring of the existing orders, and seamless communication between delivery partners and vendors/customers.
Using powerful server architecture and cluster technology, we enabled unprecedented scaling of the mobile app: We ensured that due to a sudden burst of new users and new orders, the app didn’t fail or crash, and all customers were able to get their orders delivered successfully.
